Consumer Terms

These Consumer Terms are for people who sign in to, or call, an API, developer portal, MCP server or app that an API provider (a Producer) runs on APIblaze. In these terms, “you” means you as that End User, and “APIblaze”, “we” and “us” mean APIblaze LLC. Our Terms of Service, which are for API providers, do not apply to you. By continuing to sign in, or by using an API key or token issued to you through APIblaze, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Consumer Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not sign in. You must be at least 16, and old enough to make this agreement where you live; the API provider may set a higher age.

The API provider runs the service you are using; APIblaze supplies the technology behind it (sign-in, access control, API keys and the gateway) as the provider’s service provider. The provider’s name and branding on the sign-in screen or portal tell you who that is. APIblaze does not review, endorse or control any provider’s API. The API provider, not APIblaze, is responsible for:

• its API, app or portal: what it does, its content and accuracy, its availability, and its support;
• deciding who may use it: approving or refusing you, your groups, roles and permissions, and issuing or revoking your API keys;
• its own terms and privacy policy, which it may link from the sign-in screen, and how it uses the data it receives about you;
• any price, payment, refund or subscription for its API; and
• complying with the laws that apply to its service.

Any agreement about using the API itself is between you and the API provider, and complaints or claims about it belong with them. APIblaze is not a party to that relationship and is not the provider’s agent.

When you sign in or call an API through APIblaze, you agree to:

• give accurate information and keep your credentials, API keys and tokens secure;
• use API keys and tokens issued to you only as the API provider permits, and not share them beyond that;
• not disrupt, probe, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the sign-in, access controls, rate limits or the platform; and
• not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity, including through an AI agent or MCP client acting for you.

You are responsible for activity under your sign-in and the keys issued to you until you tell the API provider they are compromised.

Access is governed by the API provider’s rules (such as allowlists, group memberships, roles and account status) and by our platform-security measures. Sign-in or a request may therefore be allowed or refused automatically and in real time. If you think access was refused in error, contact the API provider, who controls those rules. The API provider may end your access at any time under its own terms. We may suspend or block access we reasonably believe is used for fraud, abuse or a security threat, or that breaks Section 3; if we block you for that reason you can ask us to review it at support@apiblaze.com. Your access also ends if the provider stops using APIblaze or we discontinue the Service. You can stop using the sign-in at any time.

For an API provider’s End Users, APIblaze generally processes personal information on that provider’s behalf, and uses limited information itself to keep the platform secure. The Consumer Privacy Notice explains what we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights. Requests about your data held for a specific API are usually best sent to that API provider; you can also write to privacy@apiblaze.com.

APIblaze does not charge End Users. Any fees for using an API are set by, and payable to, the API provider.

If you sign in with Google, GitHub or another login provider, that provider’s own terms and privacy policy govern your account with them, and we receive only what they share with us. Calls the API provider’s service makes to other systems are the provider’s responsibility.

THE SIGN-IN AND ACCESS SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APIBLAZE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. APIBLAZE MAKES NO PROMISE ABOUT ANY API PROVIDER’S API, APP OR PORTAL.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) APIBLAZE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, CONTENT OR DECISIONS OF ANY API PROVIDER OR LOGIN PROVIDER, FOR ANY API, APP OR PORTAL YOU ACCESS THROUGH THEM, OR FOR HOW AN API PROVIDER USES DATA IT RECEIVES ABOUT YOU; (B) APIBLAZE IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA; AND (C) APIBLAZE’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SIGN-IN AND ACCESS SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO US $50.

These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection or other laws that cannot be limited by contract. Claims may be brought only against APIblaze LLC, not personally against its members, managers, officers, employees or contractors.

• Talk to us first. Before bringing a claim against APIblaze, write to legal@apiblaze.com describing the problem and what you want; we will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Disputes about an API itself go to the API provider under its terms.
• Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live outside the United States, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
• Courts. Claims may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. You may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court where you live, if it qualifies; and if you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place whose law gives you the right to sue in your home courts, you may bring it there.
• We do not require arbitration, and nothing in these terms waives a right you have to bring or join a class or collective action where the law gives you one.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. A change applies from when it is published to sign-ins and use after that date, and we will not apply a change to a dispute you raised with us before it was published. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the sign-in.

• These terms and the Consumer Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between you and APIblaze about the sign-in and access service. They do not change your agreement with the API provider.
• If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor of the Service. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
